US Launches Probe into Qualcomm

The US Justice department has launched an anti-corruption investigation into the activities of Qualcomm, the world’s biggest chipmaker for mobile phones.
According to the company, it is announced that it learned that the US attorney’s office in San Diego had begun a preliminary inquiry regarding its compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
